Black Adder Email Instructions
Using Your Mail Program (preferred method)
You can use Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc. to get your Black Adder email. To do this, you must set up a POP3 account in your mail program. Provide the following information:
| Account Name: | Your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS |
| Account Password: | YourPassword |
| SMTP Server: | smtp.blackadders.com |
| POP3 Server: | pop.blackadders.com |
You must also enable SMTP password authentication and set it to log in. (This is not the same as Secure Password Authorization (SAP). Leave that option disabled.)In Outlook, select your Black Adders email account. Select the More Settings option and the Outgoing Server tab. Click the My server requires authentication checkbox on and also the Log on using radio button. Enter your complete email address for the user name and then your password. Click the Remember Password checkbox on.
Using Your Browser:
Your email is accessible through your regular Internet browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape. To access your mail through your browser, go to the following URL:
http://webmail.blackadders.com
Select the V-Mail option. Enter your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS as your account name. Enter your password. When you use your browser to read your mail, all mail is retained on the mail server. Please delete unwanted email regularly.
There are many features to this mail system. They include web-based address books, spam filters, etc. You might want to take some time to explore them.
Changing Your Password:
To change your password, go to the following URL:

Select the Mail Administration option and enter the following information:
User Name: Just your pilot name
(ex. Chevelle)Domain: blackadders.com Password: YourPassword You will see a display that will allow you to change your password.
